“Back in 2015, we started developing a plan to strengthen our presence in the luxury hospitality market and when we arrived here it was love at first sight.” explains Pietro Irollo de Lutiis, who, along with his brothers Giuliano and Alessandro, carries forward a family tradition that began over forty years ago with La Medusa, one of the most charming historic villas on the Vesuvius Coast. “Furore Grand Hotel represents for us the future of the Amalfi Coast and the contemporary travel community who wants to live the destination off the beaten path.”

Design and Accommodations

Furore Grand Hotel is a beautifully designed property that perfectly combines Mediterranean aesthetics, modern design, and timeless Italian elegance. Nestled on nine levels of terraced gardens overlooking the sea, the hotel offers breathtaking views of the coastline. Its architectural and stylistic elements set it apart from traditional offerings in the region, presenting a stunning oasis of white amidst the lush green and blue nature surrounding it.

The hotel celebrates local craftsmanship with a contemporary twist, utilizing shades of white to frame the colors of the sea. Both private and communal spaces are bright and airy, enhanced by vibrant accents that reflect the beauty of the surrounding landscape.

Spread across nine levels, the hotel comprises 35 rooms, nearly all of which are suites, including six with Jacuzzis and six with private pools. Each room boasts sea views through balconies, terraces, or private gardens. Guests can also enjoy outstanding amenities such as two expansive outdoor pools, a Michelin-starred restaurant, an all-day dining area, and a stylish bar and lounge.

The concepts of wellness and ‘bien vivre’ reach their pinnacle at the Petramare Spa, which features gardens designed to seamlessly integrate with the natural surroundings of Furore, offering outdoor activities that promote rejuvenation for the mind and body.

Inspired by the properties of the olive tree—a symbol of the Mediterranean and an essential part of Furore’s landscape—the Petramare Spa’s wellness philosophy centers on harnessing its potent benefits. Guests can choose from three bespoke fragrances, each infused with notes from the natural surroundings, including basil, jasmine, and the iconic olive tree. The olive tree’s rich history and healing properties are celebrated throughout the spa, reflected in its design, custom perfumes, soothing teas, and serene outdoor gardens.

Open to external visitors by appointment, the wellness center spans both indoor and outdoor spaces amidst the lush greenery of the resort’s expansive park. The 500-square-meter indoor spa offers a complete sensory experience, featuring a heated pool, whirlpool, sauna, Turkish bath, and emotional shower, alongside exclusive Valmont spa treatments.

Since its opening in 2024, Chef Enrico Bartolini has overseen the hotel’s entire culinary program, from the fine dining Michelin-starred restaurant Bluh Furore to Acquarasa, the all-day dining venue that takes a ‘bistronomic’ approach to meals, aperitifs, and room service.

Bluh Furore is a celebration of the land and gastronomic delight. In the expansive open kitchen, Resident Chef Vincenzo Russo artfully combines traditional regional flavors with a modern culinary vision. This successful collaboration resulted in Bluh Furore earning its first Michelin star within just a few months of opening, as recognized in the 2024 Michelin Guide.

The culinary journey at Bluh Furore features sophisticated tasting menus that incorporate ingredients sourced from both land and sea, with vegetarian options available. Diners can enjoy four-course meals ranging from three to seven dishes, expertly paired with selections from an extensive wine cellar that boasts hundreds of labels from prestigious national and international producers, with a strong emphasis on local and organic wines. Open exclusively for dinner, the Michelin-starred restaurant provides an intimate and refined dining atmosphere, adorned in white and framed by stunning views through large windows that open to a horizon where the sea meets the sky, complemented by the soothing sounds of waves crashing against the coast.

For a more relaxed dining experience, Acquarasa offers a diverse all-day menu, where Chef Russo’s culinary talent is showcased through casual Mediterranean-inspired dishes, such as focaccia filled with the day’s catch and buffalo mozzarella.
