Global Hotel Alliance and its hotel brands are elevating their initiation regarding responsible tourism in 2022 by introducing several campaigns. The agreement of independent hotel brands, comprising over 800 hotels in 100 countries across 40 hotel brands is helping these projects that safeguard people and planet.
The alliance in 2022 for the second time has contributed to the Boodles Boxing Ball. It’s a social fundraising event that supports charities, which was organized in London only recently. Some of the most famous faces of the London society are actresses Sabrina Bartlett and Millie Mackintosh, models Roxy Horner and Amber Le Bon, Binky Felstead, a reality TV show star, television presenter Louise Roe, Gary Lineker, erstwhile soccer player and many others took part in the event and watched the high-energy boxing bouts.
Around USD 2.5 million was raised by the Boodles Boxing Ball from the last six events, with this year’s contributions to help Hope and Homes for Children, exceeding USD 1.2 million altogether. Jointly with some of the hotel brands including Sun International, Kempinski Hotels and Naladhu Private Island, GHA created thrilling holiday slots for silent and live auctions. For a good cause, these contributed more than USD 75 thousand. The exclusive live auction prize from Naladhu Private Island Maldives, comprised a 5-night stay with half board in a wonderful, recently refurbished Beach House along with Pool. It made things refreshed with the elite GHA DISCOVERY Titanium status.
