Passengers will benefit from a more convenient option that also builds and strengthens diplomatic relationships with Tanzania, while IndiGo continues to grow and strengthen their African service offerings.

The route represents another significant step in IndiGo’s continued international expansion, particularly across Africa. It will also provide passengers travelling between India and Tanzania with an additional option that reduces dependence on journeys requiring connections through other international aviation hubs.

Daily Mumbai-Dar es Salaam Flights Begin in November

The new Mumbai-Dar es Salaam route will operate every day from 20 November 2026.

Flight 6E 1851 is scheduled to leave Mumbai at 02:20 and arrive in Dar es Salaam at 06:05. The return service, flight 6E 1852, will depart Dar es Salaam at 07:05 and reach Mumbai at 15:55.

The timings are subject to regulatory approvals and operational changes, meaning passengers should confirm their final departure schedule before travelling.

Bookings for the service are available through IndiGo’s official booking channels, including its website and mobile application, as well as authorised travel partners.
