IHG grows luxury portfolio in Saudi Arabia with Hotel Indigo Abha signing

IHG Hotels & Resorts, a prominent global hotel company, has officially inked a franchise agreement for the development of a boutique hotel named Hotel Indigo Abha. This venture is in collaboration with Firdous Abha Hotel Holding Company and will be managed by Aleph Hospitality. The strategic agreement underscores IHG’s dedication to expanding its Luxury & Lifestyle hotel portfolio, aiming to enhance the hospitality experience for the burgeoning tourism sector in the Kingdom.

As part of IHG Luxury & Lifestyle portfolio, Hotel Indigo is renowned as the world’s neighborhood hotel, celebrating the exploration and rediscovery of culturally rich neighborhoods globally. Staying at Hotel Indigo goes beyond merely visiting a location; it is about complete immersion in the local neighborhood, with each of the 278 open or planned hotels globally drawing inspiration from the surrounding culture, trends, and design to create a vibrant atmosphere.

Scheduled for a grand opening in December 2025, Hotel Indigo Abha will boast 110 rooms, offering guests a unique and distinctive experience in the heart of the Arabian Highland. The hotel, inspired by its neighborhood throughout the guest journey, will feature various amenities such as a restaurant, coffee lounge, MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) facilities, and a fitness room. This blend of comfort and authenticity aims to provide a culturally rich and naturally stunning destination experience.
