India has enormous development prospect in cruise tourism

G Kishan Reddy, the Union Minister of Tourism said in a meeting on Monday that with a prolonged shoreline of 7500 kms and boasting of great rivers, India has enormous development prospect in the cruise tourism sector. The minister, while talking at the G20 Tourism Working Group conference in Goa, said that with a stretched seaside of 7500 kms and with renowned and large rivers, India has a lot of possibility in the cruise division. 


The minister said that the Indian government is devoted to increasing arrangement for ports, local and
global cruise terminals. The closing and final G20 Tourism Working Group conference accompanied by
the Tourism Ministerial Meeting started in Goa on Monday.


Minister Reddy said that the Indian government is trying to utilize the influence of tourism for propelling
beach tourism, light-house tourism, coastal tourism and cruise tourism. India is among a probable cruise
tourism place with several of its finest tourist spots yet to be revealed to the world.


The minister said that India is considering establishing youth tourism clubs in every learning institute. These clubs would uphold responsible tourism endeavors.
