WestJet has just unveiled exciting news for Canadian travelers, revealing plans to significantly enhance travel options across the country with their early peek at the summer 2024 flight schedule. They’re launching 10 brand new routes and bringing back or extending 16 others, aiming to better connect people across Canada as part of their ambitious growth plan. The complete details of WestJet’s summer offerings will be shared over the next week.

John Weatherill, a top executive at WestJet, highlighted the airline’s dedication to investing in Canada’s travel infrastructure. The 2024 summer schedule promises to offer more affordable travel choices, both for Canadians and visitors from abroad, making it easier to connect with loved ones and key destinations. The upcoming summer will reintroduce seasonal flights aimed at leisure travel, linking the eastern and western parts of Canada, and will include a significant boost in flights to sunny vacation spots, solidifying WestJet’s reputation as the go-to airline for Canadian holidaymakers. With over 75,000 seats flying into Canada each week from Europe, Asia, and the United States, WestJet is playing a vital role in supporting the country’s tourism sector, particularly through its main hub in Calgary and other cities nationwide.
