Jet2.com and Jet2CityBreaks expand offerings with Gdansk Christmas Market

Jet2.com and Jet2CityBreaks have expanded their Winter 24/25 Christmas Markets programme, introducing a new destination: Gdansk. Responding to high demand from customers seeking festive experiences in Europe, the leading leisure airline and UK’s largest operator of European city breaks will now offer flights and city breaks to Gdansk, Poland, for the first time.

Scheduled services and dedicated trips to Gdansk from Birmingham and Manchester Airports will run from November 29th to December 23rd, 2024. Flights will operate twice weekly (on Mondays and Fridays) during this period, providing customers and independent travel agents with ample options for experiencing the authentic festive atmosphere of the Polish city.

Gdansk’s Christmas Market is renowned as one of Europe’s most beautiful, transforming the Targ Węglowy area into a winter wonderland with enchanting illuminations, fairground attractions, culinary delights, handmade gifts, and live entertainment. With just over a two-hour flight time, Gdansk offers a compact and historic setting for a picturesque festive experience, including attractions such as the Museum of the World War II, the Old Town of Gdansk, and the Dlugi Targ (Long Market).
Jet2.com and Jet2CityBreaks will now operate to eight Christmas Market destinations for Winter 24/25, including Gdansk, Berlin, Budapest, Cologne, Copenhagen, Krakow, Prague, and Vienna, from eleven UK airports. This expansion represents their largest Christmas Markets programme to date, offering customers more choices and destinations than ever before.

Following the recent introduction of seven new Christmas Market routes for Winter 24/25, including the launch of Christmas Markets from Liverpool John Lennon Airport, Jet2.com and Jet2CityBreaks have also increased capacity and extended the season for some popular Christmas Market destinations.
