J&K tourism improves from infrastructure developments

Tourism in Jammu & Kashmir received a boost because of the infrastructure expansions and improved connectivity, said Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The PM addressed the Jammu & Kashmir Rozgar Mela via a video message. He said that the assistances of government arrangements should reach every section of the society without any discrimination. The government is dedicated toward providing equal development benefits to all segments and citizens.

Efforts are in progress to reinforce the health and education structure in Jammu and Kashmir, launching 2 new AIIMS, 7 new medical colleges, 2 state cancer institutes and 15 nursing homes.

The PM stated that the Rozgar Mela is a part of the measures taken by the central government for boosting employment and self-employment. As part of this campaign, in the first phase, over 10 lakh appointment letters will be given by the center in the next few months. The government has prolonged the scope of the business environment in J&K for increasing employment.

PM Modi further said that the new industrial rule and business improvements action plan has improved the comfort of doing business. He said that it has given a wonderful motivation to investment in Jammu & Kashmir. Speedy work being done regarding development-related projects will improve the entire economy of J&K.
