One of the most inspiring design hotel projects in the Bulgarian capital, the newly opened Juno Hotel Sofia eschews traditional Balkan aesthetics in favor of sophisticated minimalism.
Sliding glass panels and floor-to-ceiling windows connect the lobby and guestrooms to the urban rhythm, while an open–air lounge area provides a quiet oasis replete with lush greenery and sculptures by one of the country’s art stars.
A farm–to–table restaurant serving modern takes on Mediterranean and Balkan classics and an intimate wellness area round out the hotel’s offerings.
Custom pieces by Zanotta Prandina and Space Copenhagen are also found in guest accommodations, which include 34 rooms and one suite. Every room features expansive floor–to–ceiling windows with a small balcony as well as textured wallcoverings by the Belgian brand Omexo in lieu of headboards.
Rooms on the upper floors also have small gardens, and The Penthouse suite features an expansive terrace, alongside its two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and living room, accommodating up to five adults.
