Las Vegas Launches 5-Day Travel Sale With Major Visitor Deals

Las Vegas, Nevada, is giving travelers a fresh reason to plan a getaway this fall, with the destination launching a limited-time promotion offering more than 180 deals across hotels, dining, entertainment and attractions.
The Vegas 5-Day Sale began on September 22 and runs through September 26, giving travelers five days to access selected offers across the destination. According to the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA), some resort stays are being discounted by as much as 60%, while additional promotions cover food, shows, attractions, nightlife and other visitor experiences.
Hotel stays take center stage
For travelers watching accommodation costs, hotels are among the biggest attractions of the promotion.
Major properties across the Las Vegas Strip, downtown and surrounding areas are participating. Offers announced by the LVCVA include discounts of up to 60% at selected Caesars Entertainment properties, while MGM Resorts is offering 50% discounts at several hotels. Other participating properties are offering reduced room rates combined with dining credits, resort credits, complimentary parking or other extras.

Some deals go beyond simply lowering the nightly room rate. The STRAT, for example, is advertising a fall package with rates beginning at $49 during selected midweek periods and $99 on weekends, with resort fees and taxes included and a $50 resort credit attached to the offer. Treasure Island is advertising selected rooms from $69 plus tax, while Fontainebleau is pairing room discounts with a daily resort credit and free parking.
For travelers comparing properties, those inclusions could matter as much as the headline percentage discount.

The promotion goes beyond the hotel room
Las Vegas is also using the sale to reduce the cost of experiences that traditionally form a major part of a city break.
The LVCVA says the promotion includes offers on shows, attractions, dining and other activities. Selected Cirque du Soleil performances, for example, have discounts ranging from 10% to 30%, while some entertainment tickets are available for $50 on qualifying dates. Travelers can also find discounts for attractions such as the Eiffel Tower Viewing Deck, High Roller Observation Wheel, Fly LINQ Zipline and selected helicopter experiences.

The result is a promotion aimed at the broader vacation budget rather than accommodation alone. A traveler could potentially combine a discounted hotel with reduced-price entertainment, meals or sightseeing activities.
Why Las Vegas is pushing value now
The timing of the campaign is significant for the destination.
Las Vegas welcomed approximately 38.5 million visitors in 2025, according to LVCVA data. The tourism authority also recorded around $50.8 billion in direct visitor spending and an estimated $80.9 billion overall economic impact from tourism during the year.
The city’s tourism economy therefore extends well beyond casino floors. Hotels, restaurants, attractions, entertainment venues, transportation providers and other businesses all depend on visitor spending.

The latest campaign comes as Las Vegas works to maintain travel demand while offering consumers more value in a competitive tourism environment.
Visitor numbers have shown signs of stabilization
The current picture, however, is more complicated than a simple story of declining tourism.
LVCVA’s tourism research shows that visitor activity in 2026 has been broadly stable compared with the previous year, while the organization continues to track hotel occupancy, airport traffic, convention attendance and other indicators through its monthly tourism reports.
That distinction is important. The five-day promotion is not necessarily evidence that Las Vegas has suddenly become an empty destination. Instead, it shows how aggressively the city and its hospitality partners are competing for leisure travelers and their vacation budgets.
Air travel remains an important part of the equation
For visitors flying into the destination, passenger traffic provides another piece of the travel picture.
Harry Reid International Airport, Las Vegas’ primary commercial airport, recorded more than 4.4 million passengers in July 2026, according to official airport statistics. The airport publishes monthly passenger and aviation data as part of its ongoing traffic reporting.

For international travelers, airfare can remain one of the largest components of a Las Vegas vacation. That means hotel and entertainment discounts may make the destination more attractive without necessarily reducing the overall cost of an overseas trip by the same percentage.
Travelers should check the fine print
The headline savings also require some comparison shopping.
The LVCVA states that individual offers are subject to availability, blackout dates and their own terms and conditions. A discount advertised as “up to” 60% does not mean every room, date or property will carry the maximum reduction.
Travelers should therefore compare the final price after taxes and applicable resort fees and consider whether a package includes parking, meals, credits or entertainment. A slightly higher room rate with included benefits could sometimes produce a different overall value than a larger headline discount with additional charges.
Las Vegas continues to build around year-round travel
The promotion arrives as Las Vegas maintains a packed calendar of concerts, sporting events, shows and major attractions. The official tourism website lists upcoming events including the 2026 Las Vegas Grand Prix and National Finals Rodeo, alongside concerts and other entertainment experiences.
That calendar gives visitors another reason to combine the sale with a specific event or experience. However, travelers should also check dates carefully because major events can increase demand and affect room availability and pricing.

A five-day window for travelers to rethink their next Vegas trip
For travelers who have been waiting for an opportunity to visit Las Vegas, the promotion creates a short window to compare hotel rates and experience packages across the destination. With more than 180 offers spanning accommodation, food, entertainment and attractions, the potential savings extend beyond the traditional Strip hotel deal.
For Las Vegas, the campaign is another push to keep the destination firmly on travelers’ calendars. For visitors, the bigger question is not simply how much a hotel advertises as discounted, but how much the entire vacation will cost once the room, meals, entertainment and transportation are added together. And with the sale ending September 26, travelers interested in the offers have only a few days to decide whether a fall escape to the Nevada desert fits their plans.
