Fans of Australian Rules Football are being given a fresh opportunity to secure seats for the AFL Gather Round event, as a select batch of tickets for all nine previously sold-out matches goes on sale. The announcement has sparked excitement among footy enthusiasts, urging them to act swiftly due to the limited availability of tickets for the matches happening over a four-day football festival.
The Adelaide Hills will see an increase in audience capacity for two matches at Mount Barker, thanks to additional temporary seating, offering fans more chances to catch the action live over the weekend. The Gather Round event, spanning from Thursday, April 4, to Sunday, April 7, features several key attractions including a double-header at Adelaide Oval and games at Norwood Oval.
Moreover, the Pepsi Collective at Adelaide Oval stands out as a prime destination for those over 18 looking to enjoy the matches with a mix of premium food, beverages, and entertainment. This exclusive area offers a unique viewpoint of the game from the Magarey Room, complete with lounge and bar access, and an outdoor viewing deck.
The festival atmosphere extends beyond the matches, with a variety of events scheduled to engage fans, including player meet-and-greets, team activities, and open training sessions. Additional festivities like the Footy Festival in Elder Park and the Norwood Food and Wine Festival are set to attract visitors, promising significant economic benefits to local businesses and communities.
