The Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) has selected Thales for a major aviation technology partnership to build a new-generation Air Traffic Management System (ATMS) and advanced air traffic control radar network. A key achievement in this collaboration has already been reached through the successful issuance of the Restreint Union European approval (R-UE/EU-R) by the European Commission and France’s National Cybersecurity Agency (ANSSI). The approval enables secure interconnection between Thales’ R-Cloud environment and the European Commission’s R-UE/EU-R network, marking an important step forward for secure aviation technology cooperation.
