The “International Cities of Gastronomy Fest, Macao” is currently underway at the Macau Fisherman’s Wharf, running from June 14 to June 23. This premier event features the “City of Gastronomy Showcase,” which is a highlight among three major attractions. It brings together top culinary talents from 26 designated Creative Cities of Gastronomy around the globe—from continents such as Asia, Europe, Africa, Oceania, and the Americas—to participate in 60 exquisite culinary demonstrations. Following engaging presentations by Chinese Cities of Gastronomy, the spotlight shifts to other international cities. From now until the event’s conclusion, chefs from Bohicon (Benin), Launceston (Australia), Östersund (Sweden), Parma (Italy), and Thessaloniki (Greece) will deliver ten distinctive culinary sessions. These take place on the Main Stage along Legend Boulevard at Macau Fisherman’s Wharf. Attendees can indulge in signature dishes like Bomiwô, Cape Grim Beef Tartare, Mushroom Butter Foam, Flavours of Parma in a Risotto, and Octopus Giouvetsi, among others. This culinary exchange not only showcases the chefs’ expertise but also allows attendees to experience the rich, varied gastronomic cultures firsthand.
