Maharashtra government inaugurates several new projects and inks MoUs

In order to advance tourism in Maharashtra, the state government launched several projects and inkedMoUs with many operators from the industry.


Among the projects launched by CM Uddhav Thackeray on Tuesday was a renewed, accessible website of Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation for quicker and effective bookings and signing of MoUs with booking platforms like Makemytrip and Goibibo.


After the Nashik Boat Club, a Ganpatipule Boat Club was also inaugurated. An agreement was signed with SkyHigh India to assist tourists with skydiving experience and another agreement was inked with the State Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology, Pune, to instructMTDC staffs. A topnotch aquarium in Mumbai and a tulip garden in Satara’s Valley of Flowers are also under consideration.
