Maher Koubaa takes the helm as Amadeus executive Vice President of the travel unit and managing director for EMEA

In his newly expanded role, Maher Koubaa will leverage over two decades of experience in the travel industry to spearhead the realization of Amadeus’ strategic vision across the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region. Building on his successful five-year tenure as Head of airlines in EMEA, Maher’s broader responsibilities will now extend to adopting a customer-centric approach not only with airline clients but also with travel sellers.

The transformation within our EMEA organization presents a distinctive opportunity for knowledge exchange, the implementation of best practices, and the pursuit of success. Maher, a respected leader with outstanding relationship skills and an in-depth understanding of both the region and the industry, is committed to ensuring the continual delivery of an exceptional customer experience. Maher Koubaa holds a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering from Centrale Supélec, Université Paris-Saclay, and is presently based in Dubai.
