Mangaluru MLA urges social media users to use the hashtag #MarvellousMangalore

In order to make the best use of social media, Mangaluru City South MLA D. VedavyasaKamath has asked social media users to use the hashtag #MarvellousMangalore in their posts that would highlight the specialties of Mangalore.

Mr.Kamathconsulted with social media page administrators, influencers, bloggers among others and discussed the strategy to be accepted for boostingMangaluru as a most sought-after tourist destination in India and beyond.

The MLA said that all participants present at the discussiongave their valuable response and proposals, which would surely be considered in the tourism plan for the city sooner or later. Similar discussions would be held from time to time for modernizing the action plan.

IfMangaluruis established as a brand, it would lure investors to the city and the region and would help in boosting the local economy. All upcoming projects in the city would be plannedin order to go well with tourism advancement plans for fullestutilization of such projects, said MLA Kamath.

MLA Kamath and his team had taken the enterprise to improve tourism in Mangaluruanduphold popular tourist places along with important sports activities. Mr.Kamath said that tourism always fetches the best revenue. Promoting various activities, including food, religious places, historic places and otherswith the help of the hashtag would consistentlycapture tourist attention.

Mr.Kamathsaid that there would also be a competition for designing the logo for #MarvellousMangalore hashtag.
