Mizoram highlights its remote locations

In the middle of soul-inspiring performances by a metal band based locally, along with the delight and bonhomie among visitors, the International Tourism Mart, a three-day event of the northeast region came to a conclusion here as Mizoram requested visitors to visit the state and explore the undiscovered paradise. At the Assam Rifles ground, a huge congregation on Saturday had gathered here in the evening to witness ‘The Prophets’, a local rock band’s performance from Mizoram. It performed famous numbers, as there were many stalls selling good food and other kiosks selling traditional handmade items and were thronged by young crowd.

The Minister of State for Tourism, Mizoram, Robert Romawia Royte, addressed the gathering in Mizo language. He said that it was an honour for the state to organize the International Tourism Mart for the first time. He also added that many development works will be done in the state, mainly in tourism, as they request people to visit and explore their unexplored paradise.

Issac, a high school student, was among the youths who took part in the concert, who visited it along with some of his friends.
