The latest edition of the International Meetings Statistics Report by the Union of International Associations (UIA) has once again recognized Montreal as one of the foremost global business destinations for the sixth consecutive year.
This esteemed accolade, secured by Montreal 11 times in the past 12 years, underscores the city’s appeal as a top choice for world-class conventions, conferences, and association events. By 2022, Montreal had successfully hosted 90 such events, predominantly at the Palais des congrès, with additional venues including select hotels and universities. This accomplishment has positioned the city at 12th place in a worldwide ranking, led by Brussels, underscoring Montreal’s enduring attractiveness despite the challenges posed by the pandemic.
