Morocco Embraces St. Regis Glamour at La Bahia Blanca Resort, Tamuda Bay

St. Regis Hotels & Resorts, part of Marriott Bonvoy, makes its Moroccan debut with the opening of The St. Regis La Bahia Blanca Resort, Tamuda Bay. Eagle Hills created an exquisite haven on the Mediterranean coast, stressing Moroccan charm and Andalucian elements in its architecture.

Helen Leighton, Marriott International’s VP of Luxury Brands, EMEA, expressed satisfaction in bringing the St. Regis brand to Morocco, stressing the resort’s strategic location in Tamuda Bay, noted for its natural beauty and rich history.

The resort, which was designed as a private road, features quiet courtyards, beautiful gardens, and architectural elements that mirror local white aesthetics and coastal landscapes. Intricate metalwork, mosaic zellige tiles, and tadelakt-style textures highlight local workmanship. The chosen art collection transports travelers to nearby Tetouan, the Rif mountains, and coastal locations.

The resort has 83 guestrooms, 17 suites, and a 1,800-square-foot Presidential Suite, all with private balconies overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. The rooms, which showcase St. Regis’ residential design and comfort, offer hallmark St. Regis Butler Service.

Baie Blanche Brasserie provides culinary pleasures with a combination of current French and Moroccan flavors. The Bahia Vista Beach Bar & Grill serves fresh fish and sushi on the beach. Classic drinks and a Moroccan-infused Bloody Mary are available at the St. Regis Bar. St. Regis Afternoon Tea is served in The Library.

In conjunction with Sothys and marocMaroc, the St. Regis Spa offers guests to indulge in Moroccan beauty traditions. The luxurious event rooms of the hotel, including the Astor Ballroom with views of the Mediterranean, are ideal for festivities, marriages, and meetings.
