New Haven Mayor declares plans to a sports complex in the city

The Mayor of New Haven declared solid plans doe developing a sports complex in the city that is expected to finally have a financial effect valued millions.


Coupled with Indianapolis-based Card & Associates, New Haven is striving to develop the space known as, ‘Fields of Grace.’ Mayor Steve McMichael declared this news in the course of the Greater Fort Wayne Inc. economic development summit.


McMichael said that he is happy to say that the City of New Haven and Card & Associates has organized the initial draft of the Fields of Grace master plan. Fields of Grace is intended as a sports tourism place that will deliver excellence of place and admiring facilities.


This indoor space is set to comprise no less than five hardwood courts for volleyball and basketball, pickle
ball courts, lawn and meeting space. Out-of-doors, there will be eight fields for multiple uses with an
emphasis on softball and baseball.


Public-private subsidy choices are now being reflected also. New Haven and Card & Associates have been
functioning to create a destination master plan expansion that could eventually generate a yearly financial influence of $50 million.


The field house is scheduled to be constructed on Minnich Road close to the juncture of Moeller Road.
