New Year's Eve, fireworks

On New Year’s Eve, tens of thousands of people arrived in Edinburgh and London to watch the breathtaking fireworks.

While Cannon Street, which is close to the Thames River, is a well-liked spot to watch fireworks on New Year’s Eve and offers an incredible view of the city, it was packed with people. Not only were the official viewing areas full, but the tickets for the London event sold out in advance.

Alexandra Palace, which was built for the people in the 19th century, provided an enthralling view. The palace provided Bonfire Night celebrations. Furthermore, the London Borough of Haringey played a crucial role in offering expansive views by extending halfway between Wood Green and Muswell Hill.

Up on the Regent’s Park in London, England, the Primerose Hill, which is a public park, has been welcoming folks since the year 1842. It is just a few yards away from the bustling streets of Camden. To have a better view of the London vistas, people took a short walk over the bridge.

The Big Ben made the countdown, and a spree of fireworks were fired into the night sky that amounted up to 10,000.

With his quip on the street in London that it would be practically nothing in comparison to Auckland and Sydney, city mayor Sadiq Khan garnered laughter.

The planning for the event started way back in July, and over the course of the last week, almost 75 men and women were readying themselves across the River Thames.

Though the story strives to exist as a different one in different countries. Apart from this, a weather warning for strong winds was issued for the southern coastal areas, resulting in the cancellation of two events in Wales and England.

The annual fireworks in Barnstaple and Winter Wonderland in Plymouth featuring the spectacular fireworks display, were stalled.
