NRL Trophy makes exclusive appearance at Fiji Airways premium lounge

For the first time in history, the prestigious NRL Provan-Summons Trophy is proudly exhibited in Fiji, showcased at the Fiji Airways Premium Lounge in Nadi International Airport.

In a collaborative effort between Fiji Airways and the NRL, guests passing through the lounge on their way to the NRL Vegas Round in the United States can admire the trophy.

Mr. Andre Viljoen, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Fiji Airways, emphasizes that this initiative reflects the airline’s commitment to bringing the excitement of the NRL closer to the Fijian people.

“The Provan-Summons Trophy has never been outside of Australia and it’s quite historic that on its first international voyage, Fiji Airways is able to have this piece of NRL history on display. It is quite an honour for the National Airline.

We share this milestone with all Fijians who are also avid fans of the NRL.”

The Trophy will be exhibited at the Lounge for a fortnight before it heads to the NRL Vegas Round in the United States.

“We are even prouder of the fact that Fiji Airways carried the prestigious Trophy from Sydney Australia, and will transport it to Los Angeles from where it will make its journey to Las Vegas,” Mr Viljoen added.

Fiji Airways has been designated as the official partner for the 2024 NRL Vegas Round, featuring a doubleheader at Allegiant Stadium. The event will witness the Sea Eagles facing off against the Rabbitohs, and the Roosters going head-to-head with the Broncos.
