Premium Cabins Will Be Brought Closer to Corporate Buyers

A detailed view of the Emirates premium journey will be provided at the Chicago exhibition. The First Class suite will be displayed alongside the Business Class seat fitted to the Airbus A350, the airline’s latest aircraft type.

Premium Economy will also be presented at the stand. Elevated comfort, carefully developed features and the airline’s signature service will be highlighted through this product. Visitors will therefore be given an opportunity to examine several cabin options without boarding an aircraft.

For corporate travel managers, such displays can be used to assess whether particular products meet internal travel policies and employee requirements. Differences between cabin categories can be considered in relation to journey length, traveller productivity and comfort. Travel agents and travel management companies can also become more familiar with the experience being offered to their customers.

By placing physical products inside the convention, the airline’s corporate proposition will be made more tangible. Cabin features will not merely be described. Instead, they will be available for direct inspection by travel decision-makers attending GBTA 2026.

Global Connectivity Through Dubai Will Be Emphasised

Emirates operates an expansive network covering close to 140 destinations. At GBTA 2026, this reach will be presented as an important benefit for companies whose employees are required to travel between major business markets.

Connections through Dubai will be highlighted for journeys to destinations across Asia, Africa and Australasia, among other regions. Through this network structure, corporate travellers can be connected with commercial centres, emerging markets and established international destinations.

Direct services that do not connect through Dubai will also be featured. These are operated from Newark to Athens, New York JFK to Milan and Miami to Bogota. Additional choices are consequently provided for travellers moving between the United States, Europe and South America.

For managed travel programmes, connectivity is often assessed alongside reliability, journey time and ease of transfer. Emirates’ network will therefore be positioned around seamless and efficient travel rather than destination numbers alone. The potential value of a broad route map will be shown through the practical connections that can be provided to globally active organisations.

Sustainable Business Travel Will Receive Dedicated Attention

Sustainability will be included as a major part of the corporate travel programme. During Sustainability in Business Travel: Expectation, Progress & What’s Next, the changing sustainability landscape will be discussed.

Customer expectations, industry progress and sustainable aviation fuel will be included among the subjects addressed. Other opportunities relevant to corporate travel programmes will also be considered. The workshop will be held on 3 August from 15:15 to 16:00.

For travel managers, environmental considerations are increasingly being incorporated into procurement and programme planning. The session will offer a setting in which corporate expectations can be compared with developments across aviation.

No single solution will be presented as the entire answer. Instead, a broader conversation around progress and future possibilities will be facilitated. The inclusion of sustainable aviation fuel will ensure that one of the aviation industry’s key areas of attention is represented during the corporate discussions.

Growing Businesses Will Be Offered Tailored Support

The different travel needs of smaller businesses and large enterprises will be addressed through Growing with your Business: Evolving Travel Programmes for SME to Enterprise. This workshop will be conducted on 5 August from 13:45 to 14:30.

Businesses often require different levels of travel support as their workforces and international operations expand. During the session, tailored travel programmes and customised solutions will be explored. Emirates’ products and services will also be introduced in relation to the needs of developing organisations.

By covering the journey from SME to enterprise, the workshop will be directed towards businesses at more than one stage of growth. The airline’s potential role in supporting changing travel patterns will be explained, while client requirements will be considered.

Through this approach, corporate travel will be treated as a service that can be adjusted as a company develops. A smaller organisation may initially require straightforward rewards and fare benefits, while a larger enterprise may be supported through a more structured programme.

Business Rewards Will Be Promoted to SMEs

Special attention will be given to small and medium-sized enterprises. Curated offerings, incentives, special fares and Emirates travel benefits will be displayed to SME owners and representatives.

Business Rewards, the airline’s dedicated loyalty programme for businesses, will also be promoted. New members who register through the special on-site QR code will be eligible to receive 10,000 Business Rewards points, subject to the stated terms and conditions.

The bonus points will be awarded exclusively to new registrants throughout August 2026 who fly within one year of registration. Eligible members will receive 10,000 Business Rewards points in addition to the relevant Skywards Miles earned. The offer will not be available to existing Business Rewards members.

This incentive will provide the Chicago showcase with an immediate commercial element. The programme will not only be explained to eligible visitors, but an additional reward will also be attached to registration.

Travel Management Companies Will Be Included in the Strategy

Travel management companies and members of the wider travel trade will be included among the principal audiences at the convention. Special products designed to support personalised customer service will be introduced to these partners.

This trade-facing approach will be important because many corporate journeys are arranged through professional travel intermediaries. The airline’s services must therefore be understood not only by individual passengers but also by the organisations responsible for bookings, policy compliance and traveller support.

By engaging travel agents, SMEs, corporate clients and travel managers in one setting, different areas of the business travel chain will be brought together. Product knowledge can be improved, feedback can be collected and emerging corporate requirements can be discussed directly.

An Upcycled Community Project Will Also Be Displayed

A limited-edition collection of Aircrafted for Kids backpacks will also be shown at the Emirates stand. The backpacks have been produced by the airline’s in-house Engineering team from upcycled materials generated through its continuing aircraft retrofit programme.

These bags are donated to children at deserving non-governmental organisations. Education and local communities are supported through the initiative. Nearly 4,000 sustainable Aircrafted for Kids backpacks have been distributed to schools and community centres around the world to date.

Although corporate travel will remain the principal focus of the exhibition, this project will add a community dimension to the airline’s presence. Aircraft materials that may otherwise have reached the end of their original purpose have been given a new use through the backpacks.

Longstanding United States Operations Will Support the Chicago Appearance

Emirates has been flying to the United States since 2004. They have flights to 12 cities in the United States, including Boston, Los Angeles, Houston, Chicago, Washington D.C., Seattle, Newark, Dallas, San Francisco, Miami, Orlando and New York JFK.

The convention in Chicago is something Emirates will attend after flying to the United States for than twenty years. Chicago is already a city that Emirates flies to so it makes sense for them to be at the GBTA event in this city.
