NYC winter outing: 800+ businesses, citywide deals, Jan 16–Feb 4

New York City Tourism + Conventions, the official organization promoting tourism and events in the five boroughs of New York City, has announced the commencement of reservations for NYC Winter Outing 2024, sponsored by Mastercard. Running from January 16 to February 4, the program offers discounted experiences throughout all boroughs. Highlights include prix-fixe menus at over 600 restaurants for NYC Restaurant Week, 2-for-1 tickets to 23 Broadway shows, and 2-for-1 tickets to more than 60 museums, attractions, tours, and performing arts for NYC Must-See Week. NYC Hotel Week, a part of NYC Winter Outing, is already underway, offering a 24% discount on standard rates at over 160 hotels until February 4.

New York City Mayor Eric Adams expressed confidence in breaking tourism records this year, urging both locals and visitors to support over 800 participating businesses. Fred Dixon, President and CEO of New York City Tourism + Conventions, emphasized the Winter Outing program’s mission to create economic impact across all boroughs.

The Mayor’s Office of Media and Entertainment has joined forces with New York City Tourism + Conventions for the third consecutive year to sponsor NYC Winter Outing, contributing to participation fees for businesses citywide. Pat Swinney Kaufman, Commissioner of the Mayor’s Office of Media and Entertainment, commended the program for bringing Broadway and live performances to a broader audience.

Promotional transportation partners, including United Airlines, Amtrak, and NJ TRANSIT, are supporting this year’s program. Mastercard cardholders can enjoy special benefits by registering on priceless.com, such as a $10 statement credit for dining transactions and transportation expenses during NYC Winter Outing.

United Airlines, represented by Leon Goldberg, highlighted the airline’s commitment to offering numerous daily connections between New York City and global destinations.
