Sabre and Mastercard partner with Travalyst Coalition

Travalyst, the non-profit organization established by Prince Harry, The Duke of Sussex, is pleased to announce the inclusion of Sabre and Mastercard into its coalition.

Sabre Corporation (NASDAQ: SABR) and Mastercard are now part of the Travalyst coalition, joining esteemed travel and technology brands such as Amadeus, Booking.com, Expedia Group, Google, Skyscanner, Travelport, Trip.com Group, Tripadvisor, and Visa. Together, these industry leaders boast a combined market capitalization of nearly $3 trillion. The primary objective of the coalition is to promote sustainability awareness and provide accessible information to empower travelers to make more environmentally conscious choices. With the addition of Mastercard and Sabre, Travalyst aims to further expedite its mission.

Consumers are increasingly prioritizing sustainable travel, a trend mirrored in the corporate travel sector. Travalyst is dedicated to furnishing accessible and reliable sustainability data on a large scale, empowering individuals to make informed travel decisions. For instance, flight emission estimates are now uniformly available across most of Travalyst’s partner platforms, allowing users to identify lower-emission options and minimize their environmental footprint.

Consistency in sustainability information is crucial for fostering trust among travelers. The endeavor to transition the travel industry towards sustainability is a collaborative effort, and both Mastercard and Sabre are firmly committed to Travalyst’s mission of providing transparent sustainability information to travelers.
