Overseas tourism in Ireland continues tore cover post pandemic

Out of the country tourism in Ireland endures to recover during the first year after the pandemic restrictions – as stated by Tourism Ireland. Air access to Ireland has increased compared to winter 2019, comprising two of the largest source markets of Ireland, i.e. Great Britain and North America. Hotel residency is also better compared to the levels of 2019, notwithstanding the warning that the segment is functioning in a new certainty, with 13% of rooms under agreement for benevolent causes. 


As Tourism Ireland gears up for next year, the association is increasing a noteworthy existence at World Travel Market (WTM) in London this week, with as much as 75 tourism firms from Ireland on its stand – ranging from first-class hotels, whiskey distilleries and pleasurable car trips to visitor undertakings and unknown gems of tradition.


In the days to come, approximately 2,800 conferences will be happening on the Ireland stand, providing overseas tourism trade for Ireland in 2024 valued millions of euros. Tourism Ireland will be assembling those Irish tourism suppliers who have more capability to greet visitors with global tour operators with the abilities and balance to fetch treasured tourists to Ireland. 


WTM initiates the start of the advertising initiative abroad for next year. It is the biggest B2B event in the worldwide travel and tourism agenda.
