Tourism Ireland promotes the island of Ireland

Leading British meetings and events professionals of around 37 of them took part in ‘Ireland Meets the West End’ event that happened in London.

The annual B2B event hosted by the Tourism Ireland in combination with Fáilte Ireland and Tourism NI witnessed the British buyers to meet, do business with around 36 businesses related to tourism from all over the island of Ireland.

The main target of ‘Ireland Meets the West End’ is to increase Business Events from Britain to Ireland. For the companies from Ireland, these events offer valuable opportunity to display as well as sell their products and encourage the British buyers to approve for 2024 and following years, all their corporate meetings and incentive events in Ireland.

Tourism Ireland’s Director of Markets, Siobhan McManamy, said that Tourism Ireland was happy that so many top meetings and events professionals from Britain participated the event by taking their precious time out and become a part of ‘Ireland Meets the West End’ event and meet with their partners from across the island of Ireland – representing their promise and interest in the island of Ireland for 2024 and following years.

Business Events is a significant, high yield sector and Tourism Ireland has been responsible for taking on a busy program of activity throughout 2023.
