PATA & WTCF sign Memorandum of Understanding

The Pacific Asia Travel Association is happy to declare a new organizational collaboration with the World Tourism Cities Federation, an international tourism organization with prime focus being tourism cities. The contract is targeted to set up a planned collaboration for positive support in terms of mutual interest on the basis of the principles of organizational development and mutual profit.

The MOU was signed by Peter Semone, PATA Chair and Yang Shuo, WTCF Secretary-General. This contract was signed on October 18th, 2023, during the Third Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation at the Thematic Forum on Sub-national Cooperation of the event in Beijing, China.

Mr. Semone said that as global travel carries on accelerating and revive from the COVID situation, PATA has converted its target on China and its local, inbound and outbound tourism collections. At the right time, their partnership with the World Tourism Cities Federation comes in. WTCF has an excellent network in terms of cities all over the world and in China, it’s a foremost voice for tourism. PATA is trying to find out ways to help the next wave of tourism growth of China. They look forward to work together with WTCF in the forthcoming years for mutual success.
