“Our presence at the Monaco Yacht Show is an important opportunity to ensure that Anguilla is represented in one of the world’s leading luxury and yachting environments,” said Richard. “Beyond showcasing the destination, we are focused on building meaningful relationships with owners, operators, developers and industry partners. Anguilla’s presence at the Monaco Yacht Show also carries a strong operational objective, with the Anguilla Air and Sea Ports Authority (AASPA) engaging with visitors and industry stakeholders to gather valuable feedback on accessibility, arrival processes and the overall port-of-entry experience.
“The engagements in Monaco have been valuable from a ports and destination-access perspective. They allow us to hear directly from owners, operators and industry professionals about what they expect when arriving at a luxury destination,” said Williams.
“As we prepare for the upcoming yachting and small- to medium-sized luxury vessel season, these discussions will support further engagement and our continued efforts to enhance the official port-of-entry experience at Road Bay including stronger coordination among the relevant agencies and stakeholders. Our aim is for the arrival experience to reflect the quality, efficiency and hospitality associated with Anguilla.”
The collaboration between the Anguilla Tourist Board (ATB) and the Anguilla Air and Sea Ports Authority (AASPA) highlights a strategic approach to strengthening the island’s luxury yachting sector by connecting destination marketing with every stage of the visitor experience. The initiative focuses not only on promoting Anguilla as a premium destination but also on enhancing the journey of yacht owners, charter travellers and maritime visitors, from arrival procedures to island experiences.
During its presence at the Monaco Yacht Show, ATB further expanded its international engagement through a partnership with BOAT International as a Premier Partner. The tourism board also served as a host destination for an exclusive Owners’ Club Cocktail Reception held aboard the 111-metre Leviathan motor yacht, hosted by Oceanco.
The private gathering offered Anguilla a platform to showcase its unique tourism identity to a global network of yacht owners, charter professionals and key industry representatives. Through destination storytelling, curated experiences and an Anguilla-inspired culinary showcase, the event highlighted the island’s appeal as a destination defined by privacy, authenticity and refined luxury.

A special highlight of the reception was the Shoal Bay Margarita, a signature cocktail created specifically for the occasion and finished with locally produced Anguillian salt from Anguilla Sands, Salts & Chocolate in South Hill Village. The culinary experience showcased the island’s distinctive flavours while creating international visibility for a local business and its products.
Anguilla’s luxury travel appeal is also being featured internationally through a two-page editorial spread in “BOAT International: The Monaco Issue.” The feature presents the island’s renowned beaches, culinary experiences, accommodation offerings and its growing reputation among yacht owners and charter guests seeking exclusive escapes, genuine island culture and discreet luxury experiences.
“Anguilla is uniquely suited to the luxury yachting market. Our destination offers exceptional experiences without compromising the privacy, authenticity and effortless sophistication that today’s discerning traveler values,” said Rochester.
“Through strategic partnerships such as BOAT International, together with direct engagement with yacht owners, operators and key industry stakeholders, we are strengthening Anguilla’s visibility and creating opportunities to establish the island as an essential part of the Caribbean yachting itinerary.”
The Monaco engagement supports ATB’s wider vision of attracting discerning, high-value travellers while maintaining sustainable tourism development that reflects Anguilla’s unique identity, strengthens local economic benefits and delivers exceptional visitor experiences.
