Sabre Corporation, a leading provider of software and technology for the global travel industry, has announced the appointment of Rajiv Bhatia as part of its growth strategy in Asia Pacific. Rajiv, previously with Bird Group, joins Sabre as Executive Director for APAC Market Expansion. He will play a crucial role in expanding Sabre’s presence in key growth markets, particularly India, which is experiencing rapid growth in travel. Rajiv brings extensive experience from his time at Gulf Air and Thai Airways, and most recently served as Chief Commercial Officer of Bird Group’s India GDS business for 16 years.
