AIM Group International has reported another year of solid growth and strategic progress, reinforcing its position as one of Europe’s leading companies in the events, communications and consultancy industry. The company’s 2025 Annual & Sustainability Report highlights strong financial performance, continued international expansion, growing investment in artificial intelligence and digital transformation, and a deeper commitment to environmental, social and governance (ESG) principles.

Despite a complex global economic landscape, the Group maintained steady momentum by strengthening its diversified business model, expanding its international capabilities and investing in people, technology and sustainable business practices. The report also outlines an ambitious long-term strategy designed to support future growth well beyond the current decade.

Strong financial performance reflects resilient business strategy

AIM Group International closed 2025 with consolidated revenues of €88.99 million, while EBITDA exceeded €3 million, underlining the resilience of its business operations in a year marked by economic uncertainty across many global markets.

The company attributed its performance to a balanced strategy centred on business diversification, operational efficiency, technological innovation and continuous investment in its workforce. Rather than relying on a single revenue stream, AIM Group continues to operate across multiple business segments, allowing it to respond effectively to changing market conditions.

Alongside its financial achievements, the organisation introduced a new Business Plan that will shape its next phase of development. The strategy focuses on digital transformation, artificial intelligence, skills enhancement and a more integrated approach to delivering services across its international network.

Chief Executive Officer Gianluca Scavo described 2025 as a defining year for the organisation, saying the company successfully executed its transformation agenda while strengthening its financial position and preparing for future expansion. He emphasised that although artificial intelligence and digital technologies are powerful business enablers, it is people who ultimately create value and drive long-term success.

International footprint continues to expand

AIM Group now operates through 13 offices across nine European countries, providing integrated event management, communications and consultancy services to businesses, scientific organisations, institutions and associations worldwide.

The Group’s international presence enables it to manage increasingly complex cross-border projects while supporting clients through a combination of strategic planning, operational expertise and specialist sector knowledge.

Throughout 2025, AIM Group successfully delivered more than 2,000 live, hybrid and digital events, demonstrating continued demand for flexible event solutions that combine physical and virtual participation.

Collectively, these events attracted over 410,000 participants, reflecting the company’s strong reputation across the meetings, conferences and corporate events sectors.

The organisation also managed more than 22,500 scientific abstracts, coordinated over 26,500 square metres of exhibition space, and worked alongside more than 150 corporate clients as well as 150 international associations, highlighting the scale and diversity of its operations.

Diversified business model remains a competitive advantage

One of the central themes of the report is the strength of AIM Group’s diversified portfolio, which reduces dependence on any single market segment while creating opportunities for sustainable growth.

Conference Management remained the company’s largest business area, contributing 30% of total revenues during 2025.

Healthcare Meetings generated 20%, while both Corporate & Sport Events and Communication activities each accounted for 15% of revenues.

Continuing Medical Education represented 10%, with Association Management and Incentive & Destination Management Company (DMC) services together contributing the remaining 10%.

This balanced revenue structure enables the Group to adapt to evolving customer requirements while maintaining consistent business performance across multiple industries.

Sustainability strategy gains further momentum

Alongside financial growth, AIM Group continued strengthening its environmental, social and governance agenda throughout 2025.

The company enhanced its governance and sustainability reporting framework following the publication of its 2024 Sustainability Report and the introduction of its Sustainable Supply Chain Protocol. The new framework aims to increase supplier engagement while improving alignment with recognised international sustainability standards.

Environmental performance also improved during the year.

The Group increased its EcoVadis sustainability score to 59 out of 100, maintaining its “Committed” recognition while demonstrating continued progress across environmental and governance performance indicators.

In another significant milestone, AIM Group formally submitted its Near-Term Commitment to the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi). The commitment aligns the organisation’s future emissions reduction strategy with the objectives of the Paris Agreement, reinforcing its long-term climate ambitions.

These developments reflect the company’s intention to integrate sustainability more deeply into every aspect of its business operations rather than treating ESG as a standalone initiative.

People remain at the centre of long-term growth

The report places considerable emphasis on workforce development and diversity as key drivers of future success.

More than 300 professionals are employed across AIM Group’s international offices, creating a multicultural workforce capable of supporting clients throughout Europe and beyond.

Women continue to play a leading role within the organisation, representing 82% of the total workforce, 76% of management positions, and 70% of senior leadership roles.

Investment in employee development also remained a priority during 2025.

The company delivered over 9,400 hours of professional training, focusing on leadership capabilities, digital skills and sustainability expertise to ensure employees remain equipped for an increasingly technology-driven business environment.

President Gianluca Buongiorno said that while technology, innovation and globalisation continue transforming the industry, the company’s greatest strength remains its people. He stressed that building trusted relationships and collaborative partnerships enables every project to create lasting value for clients and communities.

Long-term growth strategy extends beyond 2030

Looking ahead, AIM Group intends to continue expanding its international presence while accelerating investment in artificial intelligence, digital transformation, cybersecurity and integrated client services.

The company has already secured an international project pipeline extending beyond 2030, providing long-term visibility and supporting confidence in its future growth strategy.

By combining technological innovation with sustainability, workforce development and diversified services, AIM Group aims to strengthen its competitive position while creating lasting value for clients, employees, communities and the wider events industry.

The 2025 Annual & Sustainability Report presents a company that is not only delivering solid financial results today but also investing strategically in the capabilities required to remain competitive in an increasingly digital, international and sustainability-focused marketplace.
