Universal Studios Singapore at Resorts World Sentosa (RWS) is set to launch Illumination’s Minion Land in 2025, offering a vibrant, immersive experience inspired by the beloved Despicable Me and Minions franchise. This highly anticipated addition will include a variety of rides, notably Despicable Me Minion Mayhem and a new, exclusive carousel called Buggie Boogie, featuring dance music remixed by the Minions. The land will also host numerous themed retail and dining options.

Minion Land is the result of a collaboration between Universal Creative, Illumination’s acclaimed filmmakers, and RWS, Asia’s top lifestyle destination. The land will transport guests into the world of Despicable Me and Minions with three unique areas: Minion Marketplace, Gru’s Neighbourhood, and Super Silly Fun Land.

Minion Marketplace

In the whimsical Minion Marketplace, guests can explore creative storefronts showcasing all things Minion. Key attractions include:

• Sweet Surrender: Featuring a giant jawbreaker vending machine and mischievous Minions, this candy-themed store offers a wide selection of Minion-themed apparel, plush toys, homeware, confections, and souvenirs.
• Pop Store: Combining modern design with street-art style, the Pop Store offers the latest fashion items and trendy styles with a Minion twist.
• Fun Store: A toy shop filled with accessories and toys, run by the beloved Minions.

Gru’s Neighbourhood

Adjacent to the marketplace is Gru’s Neighbourhood, home to former supervillain Gru, his family, and his loyal Minions. Guests can experience:

• Despicable Me Minion Mayhem: This immersive motion simulator ride takes guests through Gru’s supervillain laboratory, transforming them into Minions for his latest scheme. Accompanied by Gru, the girls, and the Minions, this ride promises heartwarming and humorous family fun.

Super Silly Fun Land

Across from Minion Marketplace and Gru’s Neighbourhood is Super Silly Fun Land, a seaside carnival from Despicable Me enhanced with Minion mischief. Attractions include:

• Buggie Boogie: The first-ever Minion dance party-themed carousel, where guests can hop on space bugs and silly creatures, dancing to Minion-remixed popular songs.
• Silly Swirly: A ride where guests can spin and soar through the sky, enjoying views of Super Silly Fun Land and the lagoon.
• Super Hungry Food Stand: A larger-than-life version of the waterfront snack stand from Despicable Me, offering themed food.
• Pop-A-Nana: A snack kiosk with Minion-inspired popcorn flavors.
• Space Killer: A game booth modeled after the “Super Silly Space Killer” arcade game in Despicable Me, offering prizes like Fluffy, Agnes’ plush unicorn.
