Revenue of €3.2 billion in tourism profits

Between January and July 2023, tourism activity generated revenue of €3.2 billion, almost 26.1% more than same time last year, and recorded 42.8 million, as per the information of the National Statistics Institute.

Income from tourism activity in July alone, went up to 754 million euros, it was 10.6% more than in July 2022. Overnight stays amounted to 8.8 million, 1.5% more annually.

As per INE, revenue from tourist activity is on a descending trend at this moment, as increases are smaller than before.
