Rosewood Hotels & Resorts launches the “Discovered at Rosewood” campaign, celebrating cultural immersion and local traditions across Austria and 34 global locations.

Rosewood Hotels & Resorts has built its reputation on crafting exceptional experiences and fostering deep cultural connections across its 34 properties. This approach, focused on immersive travel and meaningful engagement, is the heart of Rosewood’s new campaign, Discovered at Rosewood. The campaign embodies the brand’s philosophy of inspiring curiosity and encouraging guests to discover the essence of a destination through its people and culture.

Photographed by Jo Metson Scott, renowned for her storytelling through portraiture and documentary filmmaking, Discovered at Rosewood showcases how each Rosewood location invites guests to explore the world through a lens of local traditions, communities, and lifestyles. The campaign highlights the brand’s commitment to offering transformative stays through cultural immersion, the celebration of local craftsmanship, and Rosewood’s signature A Sense of Place.

Rosewood Schloss Fuschl, the brand’s newest property, was chosen as the focal point of the campaign. Set along a serene lakeside near Salzburg, Austria, this 15th-century restored castle revitalizes the rich traditions of the Austrian countryside, offering guests luxury infused with cultural heritage. The campaign brings attention to local artisans, craftsmen, and cultural figures connected to Schloss Fuschl, emphasizing Rosewood’s commitment to discovery and connection through craft, sustainable practices, and a strong sense of place.

Notable members of the Salzburg community featured in the campaign include Gerald Aichriedler, a paddleboard craftsman who embraces the art of slow craft by producing limited boards from a single tree, and Gerhard Langmaier, the Fischermeister of Lake Fuschl, who showcases a centuries-old circular fishing tradition. The campaign also introduces Austrian creative Anna Phillipa Wolf, a longtime collaborator with designer Rick Owens, further highlighting the deep cultural ties celebrated by Rosewood.

Rosewood’s dedication to culture and craftsmanship extends beyond this campaign. Earlier this year, the brand launched Rosewood Front Row, a global cultural series featuring art, culinary collaborations, and thought-provoking talks. Hôtel de Crillon, A Rosewood Hotel, also partnered with THE SKATEROOM, a platform combining skate art with social change, to celebrate skateboarding at the Summer Olympics, with works by prominent artists like Cindy Sherman, Jeff Koons, and Andy Warhol. These cultural initiatives underscore Rosewood’s ongoing narrative of discovery, which will continue to shape the brand’s future into 2025 and beyond.
