RX UK Announces Jonathan Heastie as New Portfolio Director for Travel Division

RX UK is thrilled to announce the appointment of Jonathan Heastie as the Portfolio Director for its Travel sector. In his new capacity, Jonathan will spearhead the strategic advancement and expansion of RX UK’s array of travel brands, namely World Travel Market (WTM) and Arabian Travel Market (ATM).

Having joined RX in 2008, Jonathan initially oversaw events in Aerospace before transitioning to the Energy & Marine portfolio in 2011, where he led the global alternative energy group.

With over three decades of experience in the media industry, Jonathan has held management roles at international event organizing firms as well as newspaper, magazine, and online publishing companies.

Throughout his career, Jonathan has orchestrated more than 100 events across six countries, encompassing various scales and formats such as exhibitions, conferences, seminars, road shows, and award ceremonies, spanning eight different industries.

Jonathan Heastie will succeed Vasyl Zhygalo, who is redirecting his focus towards his Managing Director responsibilities for RX in the Middle East and Emerging markets. Heastie will commence his new role in May 2024.
