On Thursday, Tej Pratap Yadav, Bihar environment and climate change minister, requested the concerned officials to build up a website for encouraging eco-tourism in the state.
The minister has urged the officials to turn on the Bihar Forestry Development Corporation Limited and improve its related activities.
He said to develop a website to explain people about the places that have huge importance in terms of eco-tourism. It will assist in drawing tourists to these places, he said.
For eco-tourism,the important places in Bihar are Rohtas Manjhar Kund, Valmiki Tiger Reserve in West Champaran, Rajgir nature safari in Nalanda, Sita Kund and Rohatasgarh fort in Rohtas, Telhar Kund and
Mundeshwari temple in Kaimur.
Also, the minister requested the BFDCL to work together with an aim to
attain a business of Rs 100 crore annually. In the meeting, the ones who
were present included O P Yadav, EFCC secretary, Ashutosh, the principal
chief conservator of forest, Mr. C P Khanduja, the principal chief
conservator of forest and Mr. Anil Kumar, the managing director of BFDCL.
