FITUR 2023 closes its doors today with a balance of absolute success that shows the great dynamism of the entire value chain of the tourism industry, and the good prospects for growth of this activity worldwide.

In this light, a wide range of destinations are promoted, including the Amazon, Ancash, Arequipa, Cusco, Puno, Ica, Lambayeque, La Libertad, Lima, Madre de Dios and Loreto.

Sustainability, innovation and cutting-edge trends will be the core themes of FITUR’s content, in line with the fair’s objective of contributing to the revitalisation and growth of tourism activity.

FITUR LGBT+, the section of FITUR specialising in the LGBT segment is organising a new edition as part of the tourism industry’s first major annual event, to be held from 18 to 22 January 2023 at IFEMA MADRID. As in previous editions, this area will feature a series of talks and presentations to develop different themes with the aim of revitalising tourism and promoting the diversity of the different destinations. “Love to travel” will be the claim of this year’s edition, which will be sponsored once again by Iberia.

Since its launch in 2020, the World MICE Awards have helped to raise standards within the MICE sector, rewarding leading organisations in their field in all countries.
