Following the momentous groundbreaking ceremony of Taikoo Li Xi’an, a collaborative venture between Swire Properties and Xi’an Qujiang New District, The House Collective is thrilled to unveil its newest addition to its esteemed portfolio of ultra-luxurious properties. Set in Xi’an (with the precise name to be disclosed in due course), this forthcoming establishment signifies another significant stride in the brand’s expansion strategy, building upon the recent revelations of upcoming Houses in Tokyo and Shenzhen.
The House Collective stands as a distinguished group of exquisite properties, celebrated for their unparalleled uniqueness. Commencing its journey in 2008 with the inauguration of The Opposite House, this collective curates and oversees exceptional hotels, each imbued with its own cultural essence and architectural splendor. From The Opposite House in Beijing to The Upper House in Hong Kong, The Temple House in Chengdu, and The Middle House in Shanghai, these havens cater to discerning travelers in pursuit of authenticity, sophistication, and bespoke luxury. The House in Xi’an sits within the enchanting confines of the Small Wild Goose Pagoda historical and cultural zone, forming an integral part of Swire Properties’ dynamic mixed-use development, Taikoo Li Xi’an. Here, meticulous efforts have been dedicated to delving into its historical tapestry and safeguarding its rich cultural heritage and traditions. Set to unveil in 2028, The House will present around 115 hotel accommodations and 55 serviced apartments, with a predominant number of rooms boasting captivating vistas of the pagoda. Crafted by the acclaimed Japanese architect Shigeru Ban and the distinguished interior design firm LAYAN, The House promises a plethora of opulent experiences encompassing fine dining, art appreciation, cultural immersion, lifestyle indulgence, and wellness pursuits.
