This Dasara, Mysuru tourism to get a new logo

What is considered as an initiation to help the tourists and offer them valuable info on sightseeing at the time of their visit to Mysuru this Dasara, the Tourism Department of Karnataka has planned to take in around 300 Tourist Mitras working all over Karnataka for the festivities and organize them in the city for helping the tourists. The tourist number is hoped to witness a major edge when the city organizes the annual celebrations.

Cheers to Shakti the free rides for women in State transport buses, one of the guarantees of the Congress government, the powers here are predicting a major footfall during the festive times and so, arrangements are being made to manage with the rush.

For launching its Dasara attractions, the state Tourism Department was also awaiting grants. The attractions of Dasara include heli-ride, vintage car rally, kite festival, and laser show at the Mysuru Palace are among the best things planned by it this season.

M.K. Savita, Joint Director of Tourism, recent said that for Mysuru Tourism, an attractive new logo has been designed during a competition arranged for branding Mysuru. During the celebrations, this new logo will be released and it will be used in all events for the promotions of tourism.
