Tomohon International Flower Festival (TIFF), staged every year in Tomohon City, North Sulawesi, has been a significant economic booster for the local community, said Minister of Tourism Widiyanti Putri Wardhana. During the event on August 8, 2025, Minister Wardhana emphasized that TIFF’s impact is not only limited to bringing in visitors but also produces a multiplier effect in boosting local businesses such as micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), craftsmen, and hospitality services.

In 2024, TIFF welcomed more than 300,000 visitors, which brought a whopping economic turnover of more than Rp92 billion (or US$5.6 million).
