Travel inclinations of Chinese travelers are slowly altering as they attribute bigger significance to
security, individuality and sustainability in the midst of a post-pandemic retrieval in the world-wide tourism segment, said a top executive of Trip.com, which is China’s leading online travel agency.
At present, Chinese tourists are more enthusiastic to create smaller groups with close friends and families
instead of enrolling in a group comprising 50 outsiders, which is an arrangement witnessed before the outbreak of the pandemic. They are also making arrangements for finances for local drivers and tourist attendants for smaller groups like these.
Domestic tour operators along with hotels and airlines are also providing more hygienic products and facilities after the pandemic to safeguard tourists better who visit overseas, according to Jane Sun, the CEO of Trip.com
