Travelport & Avianca launch a game-changing NDC integration, revolutionizing global travel bookings for agencies & travelers alike.

Today, Travelport, a leading global tech firm that facilitates reservations for a vast array of travel providers across the globe, and Avianca, a major airline based in Colombia with a presence in Latin America and a member of the Star Alliance, revealed the integration of Avianca’s New Distribution Capability (NDC) content and advanced NDC service features into the Travelport+ platform. This development allows Travelport’s agency partners to effortlessly tap into Avianca’s complete NDC offerings through various Travelport solutions, including the Travelport API, Smartpoint Cloud, and Smartpoint desktop applications.

With this update, users of Travelport+ now have the convenience of exploring, comparing, and booking Avianca’s NDC offerings alongside traditional fares in an integrated process. Furthermore, Travelport’s NDC functionality for Avianca encompasses comprehensive retail service features, enabling agents to efficiently manage changes, exchanges, or cancellations for NDC reservations on behalf of travelers.
