Under Canvas, a premier provider of luxury outdoor accommodations, today announced the opening of its first California location, Under Canvas Yosemite, scheduled for May 22, 2025. This new 80-acre campsite, nestled in a tranquil, forested mountainside and surrounded by mature trees native to Yosemite, is conveniently located just 10 minutes from Yosemite National Park’s west entrance. It also boasts a nearby YARTS (Yosemite Area Regional Transportation System) stop, providing easy, car-free access to the park.

Guests can look forward to staying in safari-inspired tents equipped with king-size beds, high-quality linens, private decks, and ensuite bathrooms. The central lobby tent will include communal lounges, dining spaces, and gaming areas, adjacent to a large yoga deck. The dining experience features both outdoor and indoor seating options, offering freshly prepared seasonal meals along with a selection of California wines and craft beers. Complimentary activities at Under Canvas Yosemite include live acoustic music, daily yoga sessions, children’s programs, evening s’mores, and more. The camp’s Adventure Concierge is available to help guests arrange a variety of local and park-based activities such as rafting, rock climbing, fly fishing, stargazing, and photography classes.
