Mindful eating. Powerful massage therapies. Meaningful connection. In a month-long initiative this April 2021, Four Seasons Hotel Seoul is uniting guests and employees on a Hotel-wide health-kick – “Healthy Me” – encompassing nutrition, exercise and holistic care.

Guests can expect wellbeing-enhancing menu options across all outlets, a cutting-edge tension-melting Spa technique, and empowering yoga sessions on the 15th floor garden terrace among many other health-focused elements.

In addition to encouraging guests to embrace the month-long mission, the Hotel’s team will also be participating: a key part of Four Seasons commitment to take the best possible care of its staff, so that they can take the best possible care of guests.

“Together we’re stronger,” says Alejandro Bernabe, General Manager. “That’s the ethos behind this month’s Healthy Me initiative. Now that New Year and Valentine’s are just a sugar-hazed memory, we wanted to turn our attention to the wellbeing of the whole Hotel family so that everyone feels and shares the benefits of positive self-care.”

With each department exploring the Healthy Me initiative in their own unique way, guests will be able to build up a fully supported wellbeing experience during their stay. And, like any health kick, the hope is that the month-long program will encourage the adoption of healthier habits going forward.

We Are What We Eat

Blur the lines between indulgent and beneficial at Confection and Maru with gluten-, lactose- and sugar-free tiramisu, chocolate layer cake and Basque cheesecake or deliciously light acorn jelly salad. Head to The Market Kitchen for fresh namul (wild greens) dishes prepared by the Hotel’s Executive Chef Jaeyoung Lee. Boost brain and body with a low-cal four-course Boccalino menu – also available as an In-Room Dining experience – from tuna tartare to bottarga and basil oil, steamed seabass to strawberry sorbet. Sip non-alcoholic cocktails at Charles H bar. Focus high with healthy coffee break or Korean box meeting menus featuring low-carb muffins, protein-rich Hanwoo beef short rib patties, and fibre-packed wild sesame seed and mushroom soup. Also available for takeaways.

Yoga and Yogurt

Experience an ancient practice that strengthens body and mind every Sunday at the Hotel’s Fitness Centre. “Yoga and Yogurt” takes place on the open-air garden terrace from 10:00 to 10:50 am, with the chance to enjoy a delicious yogurt parfait after some uplifting asanas. Suitable for ages 16 years and above, the price is KRW 30,000 per person. (Note, if physical distancing rules change, this event will be cancelled.)

Team Tactics

Join the fitness and fun line up on every Monday at 7:00 pm in the entire month of April 2021, as the Hotel’s FS Running Crew hit the streets for a four-kilometre foray around Gyeongbok Palace (dependant on physical distancing regulations). All guests and employees are invited to participate. Further staff-focused experiences extend to a weekly nutrient-focused theme in the canteen spanning immune-building vitamin E to revitalising potassium.
