It’s game on at Four Seasons Hotel Bahrain Bay with the launch of the Beach Club: an intergenerational homage to modern and old-school fun. Think laidback California surf shack meets gamers’ fantasy haven, with a side of sophisticated beach-style living. Vintage arcade games rub shoulders with high-tech consoles in the colourful and cosy space, the latest memory-making addition to the Hotel’s sandy beach and water park for the ultimate in family-focused entertainment.

“We know one of the main reasons people go on holiday is to spend quality time together,” comments Hotel Manager Jason Rodgers, “which is why we’ve focused on creating a lively, playful and interesting space that appeals to all. The Beach Club is a place where families can play, laugh and relax together, encapsulating the warm and convivial vibe at the heart of our Hotel.”

Families can retreat for a game of pinball, pool or air hockey in the club’s cool central hub, designed to encourage child-like escapism for all ages. Comfort is key, from sofas and bean bags to an innovative mezzanine-level den featuring “chill out netting” – essentially a giant hammock – strewn with colourful cushions. And for those craving quiet respite from the midday sun, soft seating artfully hidden behind fronds of greenery is just the place to curl up with a good book or old-fashioned board game.

Talking points abound in eclectic delights from all eras: humorous comic book art; shelves of movie figures and memorabilia; giant TVs with the latest sports and movies; and a fun serving hatch, facing the pool, where hungry gamers can refuel with a tasty range of drinks and snacks.
