Uzbekistan keeps attracting more and more international travellers, particularly U.S. travellers, projected to increase considerably every year. From January to September of 2025, 28,600 U.S. citizens travelled to Uzbekistan, which exceeds last year’s numbers by 22.4% and suggests an increasing U.S. visitation of any type (business, tourism, family, etc) to Uzbekistan and Central Asia. During the January and September of 2025, Uzbekistan’s National Statistics Committee recorded a significant increase visitation tourism from the United States of America.

Most of the travellers during this period came for tourism purposes. From the U.S. business sector, Uzbekistan is likely starting to see more and more travel each year and is likely to become a more significant Central Asian business travellers destination.
