VITM 2024 offers 10,000 cheap air tickets to explore Vietnam landscape

Hanoi is set to host a vibrant celebration of travel and environmental consciousness with the Vietnam International Travel Mart (VITM) 2024, unfolding from April 11-14. Organized by the Vietnam Tourism Association (VTA), this year’s theme, “Vietnam Tourism – Green Transition for Sustainable Development,” aims to spotlight the symbiotic relationship between tourism and environmental stewardship.

This travel trade event, heralding a new era of responsible travel, promises an impressive showcase with over 450 booths and an expected turnout of about 80,000 visitors.

In an ambitious move to bolster tourism while emphasizing sustainability, VITM 2024 will offer a staggering 10,000 cheap air tickets, enticing travel aficionados to explore the enchanting landscapes of Vietnam. This initiative not only opens the gateway to Vietnam’s myriad attractions but also underscores the event’s commitment to sustainable travel practices.

Vu The Binh, the Chairman of VTA, emphasizes the fair’s objective to foster a tourism trend that harmonizes development with environmental protection. It’s a clarion call to tourism businesses, local authorities, and travelers to engage actively in safeguarding the environment through mindful travel experiences.

VITM 2024 aims to pivot tourism towards greener pastures, focusing on the cultivation of green destinations, products, and knowledgeable human resources in green tourism. These efforts are geared towards elevating the international profile of Vietnamese tourism, portraying it as a beacon of sustainability.

The fair is poised to be a fertile ground for Vietnamese and international tourism businesses to showcase their brands, introduce their offerings, forge new business relationships, and propel growth across outbound, inbound, and domestic tourism sectors. Visitors will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in a plethora of activities, from snagging promotional tours and discounted airfares to securing affordable hotel stays and exploring the One Commune – One Product (OCOP) offerings from various Vietnamese localities.

An integral part of VITM 2024 will be the forum on “Vietnam Tourism – Green Transition for Sustainable Development” scheduled for April 12. This forum will delve into strategies for achieving a green transformation within the Vietnamese tourism sector, paving the way for a sustainable future.

Furthermore, several Vietnamese provinces, including Kien Giang, Thai Nguyen, Ninh Binh, Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, and Ha Tinh, are gearing up to hold tourism promotion conferences at VITM 2024. These sessions aim to highlight the unique tourism potentials of these regions, inviting visitors to explore the diverse and rich cultural tapestry of Vietnam.
