Royal Caribbean Expands Los Angeles Cruise Options With Ovation of the Seas

Royal Caribbean Ovation of the Seas has arrived in Los Angeles, ready to kick off its winter cruise season with a new Mexico and Baja California routes.

Ovation of the Seas Added To Port Of Los Angeles Lineup The Ovation of the Seas has been added to the Port of Los Angeles cruise lineup for the 2026-27 winter season. Following its Alaska season, the Quantum-class vessel has been transferred to California, where it will offer a collection of short and long cruises in the Pacific.

Titled Western Coast Adventure, the ship’s new West Coast programme offers three-to-eight-night sailings from Los Angeles with stops in Ensenada, Cabo San Lucas and Catalina Island. The first sailing of the season from Los Angeles began with a three-night voyage to Ensenada, Mexico.

• Three-night cruises: Trips to Baja California destinations such as Ensenada
• Four- and five-night cruises: Sailings including Catalina Island and Cabo San Lucas

From December, selected longer itineraries are expected to include up to two overnight stays in Cabo San Lucas, giving passengers additional time to explore beaches, cultural attractions and local experiences.

Other Royal Caribbean Ships Continue California Operations

Royal Caribbean also remains committed to additional cruise capacity from Los Angeles for the 2026-27 season.

The ship will continue sailing from Los Angeles through early October 2026, when she’ll reposition to Singapore for a Southeast Asia deployment.

Voyager of the Seas will then take over from Navigator of the Seas for the winter period.
