UAE Luxury Tourism Expands With Michelin Keys and Dubai Superyachts

The emergence of the UAE as one of the leaders in luxury tourism is related to the creation of many prestigious hotels and water amenities. Atlantis The Royal in Dubai retained Three Michelin Keys for the second consecutive year, remaining the UAE’s only hotel with the guide’s highest hotel distinction. The property’s 2026 recognition follows its inclusion in the global Michelin Key selection and its earlier architecture and design recognition.

The wider UAE selection covers properties across Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Ras Al Khaimah, giving travellers a range of luxury accommodation options across urban, coastal and desert environments.

Dubai Accounts for a Major Share

Dubai has 14 of the UAE’s 25 Michelin Key-awarded hotels. Among the city’s Two-Key properties are One&Only The Palm, Bvlgari Resort Dubai and The Lana, Dorchester Collection.

The city’s One-Key properties include resorts and hotels across Jumeirah, Downtown Dubai, Palm Jumeirah and other central districts. This distribution allows visitors to select accommodation based on proximity to beaches, shopping, business districts, restaurants and waterfront attractions.

For travellers planning multi-day stays, Dubai’s concentration of recognised hotels also makes it possible to combine different neighbourhoods and experiences without lengthy intercity transfers.

Dubai Harbour Expands Superyacht Capacity

The marina currently lists 705 berths across its two marina facilities, with 24-hour services and security. Harbour Marina is designed for charter vessels, while Bay Marina caters to superyachts and private owners.

Superyachts Add a New Layer to Dubai Travel

Visitors can travel between Dubai and Abu Dhabi by road, making it practical to include both emirates within a single UAE itinerary.

Ras Al Khaimah Adds Desert and Mountain Experiences

Ras Al Khaimah also features in the 2026 Michelin Key selection, extending the luxury accommodation network into the northern emirate. Its tourism offering includes desert resorts, mountain landscapes and coastal properties.
