Airelles Le Guanahani Saint-Barthlemy will officially debut on 1 November 2026, making it the latest entry of the French luxury hospitality brand to the Caribbean and expanding its offering to one of the most luxurious islands in the world. The date was announced on Airelles’ official website.

The site forms a peninsula between Grand Cul-de-Sac and Marchal Bay, allowing visitors to enjoy two different coastlines-one calm and lagoon-like in Grand Cul-de-Sac, the other wilder and more open in Marchal Bay.

If you’re planning a winter trip in Caribbean , the countdown is now making it into prime season time.

Why the Location Matters for Saint-Barthélemy Travellers

Guests have immediate access to one of Saint-Barthelemy’s most unique natural environment thanks to the resort’s location. The protected Grand Cul-de-Sac lagoon lies within a nature reserve and is home to turtles and fish, while its shallows allow for easy wandering.

Guests are able to snorkel, kayak and paddleboard in the lagoon, while the second beach at Marchal Bay offers a different side of the coast.

This fusion would seem to grab the interest of all visitors who are looking for a resort sort of stay, but who are not looking to remove themselves from nature and water recreation.

Accommodation Focuses on Space, Views and Private Pools

Airelles is positioning the property around spacious rooms and suites spread through its tropical estate. Accommodation categories range from garden-facing rooms to larger residences designed for families and groups.

Private-pool options form an important part of the offering. The Ocean Bay Pool Room, for example, includes a private terrace and pool overlooking Marigot Bay, while the Beach Pool Suite places guests only metres from the sand and provides its own pool.

Larger groups can consider options such as the Garden House, which accommodates up to seven guests and includes three bedrooms, multiple bathrooms, a terrace and private pool.

Two Beaches and Two Pools Shape the Resort Experience

Water sits at the centre of the guest experience. The resort has an infinity pool overlooking the lagoon and another pool within the Airelles Spa.

The spa pool remains reserved for adults, providing a quieter alternative to the main beachfront area. The infinity pool offers direct access towards the beach and lagoon, placing guests close to the resort’s principal waterside facilities.

The two beaches also serve different traveller preferences. Grand Cul-de-Sac suits swimming and gentle water activities, while Maréchal Bay offers a more exposed ocean setting.

Dining Brings Caribbean and French Influences Together

Food will form another major part of the stay. Airelles lists La Table du Guanahani as its restaurant, supported by three bars: Le Pélican, The Pool Bar and The Library.

The resort describes its culinary direction as combining local produce and Caribbean influences with French cooking expertise.

That positioning fits Saint-Barthélemy’s wider reputation for upscale dining and gives guests several options without requiring them to leave the property.

Airelles Spa Adds a Dedicated Wellness Programme

Wellness travellers will discover the Airelles Spa x LBA, designed with a collaboration with Laboratoires Botanique Avance. Experience treatments that blend plant-based biotechnology with regenerative wellness protocols.

But outside of its spa offers, visitors have access to a fitness room, tennis facilities, and the lagoon for swimming. It’s creating a more comprehensive wellness programme as opposed to just an experience within the treatment rooms.

Some other categories also have spa access as one of the guest amenities, but it is always worth checking the facilities of the room you want to book.

What Travellers Should Know Before Booking

Travellers considering Airelles Le Guanahani Saint-Barthélemy should plan around the confirmed 1 November 2026 opening and check availability directly with Airelles, particularly for the winter holiday period.

Key points to consider include:

  • Opening: 1 November 2026.
  • Location: Grand Cul-de-Sac area of Saint-Barthélemy.
  • Beaches: Grand Cul-de-Sac Lagoon and Maréchal Bay.
  • Pools: Main infinity pool plus an adults-only spa pool.
  • Activities: Snorkelling, kayaking, paddleboarding, fitness and tennis.
  • Dining: La Table du Guanahani and three bars.
  • Wellness: Airelles Spa x LBA with regenerative treatments.
  • Families: Selected accommodation includes complimentary Kids Club access.

Check the rooms. For those with private pools, the amenity is for specific rooms, not all of them.

That beginning enhances the high-end hotel option near Grand Cul-de-Sac, an area the Saint-Barthlemy Tourist Office already identified as an area of high-end beachfront lodging and safeguarded lagoon setting.
